| Worship will always be one of the key values of Lake Forest
Community Church. The Bible tells us that God our Father seeks
those who will worship him in spirit and in truth, and it's
our desire to be people who do just that. We spend time every
Sunday singing songs of worship to God, pouring our hearts to
Jesus and telling Him how much we love Him. We express our worship
physically, lifting our hands in adoration, clapping, perhaps
kneeling, and sometimes just being silent before Him. We worship
God not to get something from Him, but simply because He is
worthy of our worship. But as we worship, God does bless us,
and pours out His grace and mercy and love on us through his
Holy Spirit. |
| Worship doesn't end with the last song on Sunday morning.
Our lives are to be lived as an offering of worship to our God.
As we become people of faith, and create a culture of hope,
and build a community of love that is our desire: that every
aspect of our lives, both individually and together as a church,
would be an offering of worship that would bring glory to God. |
