world, we've got to start with our men. At Lake Forest Church
we are committed to developing healthy positive relationships
encouraging men to be strong leaders with integrity and character. |
| The Merriam-Webster definition of integrity includes the term
"the quality or state of being complete or undivided." |
| Today men are faced with many pressures and challenges, constantly
bombarded via newspapers, radio, television and all types of
media. It is a challenge to stay morally pure. The bible teaches
that, "We have not been given the spirit of fear, but of
power and love and self discipline." |
| Our Men's Ministries is focused on building accountability
and authentic relationships, a place where those mature in their
faith can continue to grow and can bring along those who are
also learning and growing. A place where men can feel safe,
and discuss real issues. |
| We accomplish this several ways including; small groups we
call "life groups" as well as mentoring programs and
social events like golfing, fishing and sporting events. |
| Please join us and find the strength that you need to walk
with integrity and character in our modern day world. |
| Currently our men are going through a study of the book "Purpose
Driven Life" by Rick Warren. This exciting study answers
some tough questions like "what on earth am I here for" |
| Colossians 1:16 "For everything - absolutely everything
- above and below, visible and invisible everything got started
in Him and finds its purpose in Him." |
