Lake Forest Community Church is a new church plant and has been birthed out of many months of prayer. For the last 6 months a core group of people have been meeting on a regular basis and asking God for direction and vision.

It became very clear in March 2003 that El Dorado Hills would be the target location, Cameron & Debbi and two other families have relocated to El Dorado County and joined several other families to now become the "launch team".

Cameron & Debbi were both on staff at Family Community Church in San Jose. [www.fccchurch.com] FCC now in 5 weekend services is one of the fastest growing, dynamic churches in Silicon Valley. Using state of the art technology and solid bible teaching and a no- nonsense approach to ministry, FCC has recently seen explosive growth with attendance doubling. After meeting with Pastor Bill Buchholz and sharing their vision Cameron & Debbi were commissioned to go and start Lake Forest Community Church.

Cameron's approach to Lake Forest will be similar to his approach to the small group ministry he was responsible for at FCC. Over the last 2 years Cameron was blessed to see the small group ministry catch fire and grow from 10 groups to over 220.
